Managing shipping settings
Setting up your shipping options allows you to cater to different regions and provide various delivery methods for your customers.
Follow the steps below to configure your shipping settings effectively.
Step-by-step guide
1. Access the shipping settings
- Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on “Shipping.”
2. Manage shipping regions
Adding a new region:
- Click the “+ Add new region” button located at the top right corner of the “Manage shipping regions” section.
- Fill out the required fields to activate your new region:
- Region Name: Enter a name for the new shipping region (e.g., “Melbourne”), and select the relevant state/territory.
- Shipping Rate: Define the shipping rate for this region. You can choose from different rate types (e.g., flat rate, price-based rate, weight-based rate, or free shipping).
- Details: Enter the fields under the “Details” panel. Specify the delivery option name, delivery time-frame, delivery rate, etc.
- Local Delivery: Click on the toggle to activate this feature.
- Click & Collect: Click on the toggle to activate this feature.
- Press “Save” in the top right hand corner of the page.
Editing a region:
- Visit the “Shipping” tab in the navigation panel.
- Click on the name of the region you want to edit.
- Edit the fields that require changing. This may include any of the following:
- Region name
- Shipping rate
- Delivery details
- Press “Save” in the top right hand corner of the page.
3. Save your changes
- Click the “Save” button.

- Define clear and concise region names to avoid confusion.
- Regularly update shipping rates and regions based on your business needs and customer feedback.
- Use the “Message to Customer” field to communicate important shipping information and policies clearly.
