How to import products into your Little Big Shop #

Little Big Shop allows you to import multiple products onto your eCommerce site.

If you’re migrating from Shopify, we also have a feature that allows you to do so.

To import products

1. Visit the Import products page
   • Start by navigating to your shop’s admin dashboard.
   • Go to Products > Import products
2. Download the template
   • Press ‘Download template’
3. Populate your template
   • Enter the required information into the Excel spreadsheet
4. Upload the template
   • Press ‘Choose file’ under ‘Step 2. Upload’
   • Once you have selected your file, click ‘Upload your LBS template XLS’
5. Save your changes

We make it easy to import products from Shopify to Little Big Shop:

1. From the Admin dashboard select Products > ‘Import Products’ > ‘Upload Shopify Export’
2. In ‘Step 1. Export from Shopify’ click on the link ‘Learn how to export your products from Shopify’ to read how to export products from Shopify and download your export CSV file
3. Once you have formatted the CSV file with your products, go to ‘Step 2. Upload’ and select ‘Choose file’ to upload your CSV file
4. Select ‘Upload your Shopify product CSV’ to import your products to your Little Big Shop

• Data accuracy: Double-check your data for accuracy before uploading. Incorrect or incomplete data can cause errors or result in products not being imported correctly.
• Consistent formatting: Ensure that all data is formatted consistently. For example, use the same units for measurements and ensure prices are in the correct currency format.
• Save a copy: Always save a copy of your completed template before uploading. This can serve as a backup or for future reference.

• Error Messages: If you encounter any error messages during the upload process, review the error details and correct any issues in your template file. Common errors may include missing required fields or incorrect data formats.
• Keep getting error messages? Try uploading 5-10 products at a time. If an error message persists, send an email to help@littlebigshop.com.au and one of our Customer Support Champions will assist you.
