    The Add Membership page in Little Big Shop’s “Big” plan, allows you to create customer memberships by entering a membership number, expiry, and status.

    Step-by-step guide on adding a membership

    Step 1: Ensure your shop’s membership feature is activated
    • To have and search memberships, you must be on a “Big” plan, and have activated the feature. If you have not already done so, activate memberships by doing the following:
      • Press “Settings” in the left hand navigation bar,
      • Select “Features”
      • Click on the toggle in the “Memberships” to activate the feature.
      • Press “Save.”

    Step 2: Access the “Add Membership” page

    • Press “Customers” in the left hand navigation bar.
    • Select “Add Memberships.”

    Step 3: Enter membership details

    • Membership Number: Input the unique membership number for the customer.
    • Expiry Date: Click on the calendar icon to set an expiration date.
    • Status: Select either “Active” or “Expired” from the dropdown menu.

    Step 4: Save the membership

    • Once all fields are filled in, click the “Save” button at the top right of the page to finalise the new membership.

    • Review Before Saving: To ensure that all details are correct—especially important given the volume of data you might be handling—always double-check the membership number and expiry dates before hitting save. A quick review can prevent the need for corrections later.
    • When setting expiry dates, the calendar tool can help visualise how long each membership lasts, which can aid in planning renewals or promotions based on membership expiries.
