Creating and managing legal pages in Little Big Shop #

Little Big Shop gives you the option to add and edit the following legal information that will appear in your store’s footer: Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

We provide templates to use as a guide, or you can add your own policies. In this help article, we discuss how to do this.

1. Access the Legal Pages section

• From the admin dashboard, navigate to the left-hand menu and click on the ‘Settings’ button
• Select the ‘Legal pages’ tab from the options provided
• You will land on a page saying ‘Create your own legal pages’

2. Populate your legal pages

You have the option to add a pre-built template to each page, or to add your own content.

To add the pre-built template to the page, click on the page you wish to add, then click the button to the right of the page e.g., ‘Load Terms & conditions template’

Read and edit the copy to reflect your business needs.

• Terms & Conditions: This document outlines the rules and regulations for using your website
  • Click on the ‘Terms & conditions’ tab
  • Enter your terms and conditions in the text editor provided. You can format the text using the toolbar options for bold, italics, lists, etc.
  • If you need a starting point, click the ‘Load Terms & conditions template’ button to use a pre-made guideline template. Customise it to suit your needs
• Privacy Policy
  • This document explains how you collect, use, and protect your customers’ personal information.
    • Click on the ‘Privacy policy’ tab
    • Enter your privacy policy in the text editor provided
    • If you need inspiration, click the ‘Load Privacy policy template’  button to use a pre-made guideline template and customise it accordingly
  • This document outlines the conditions under which customers can return products and receive refunds
    • Click on the ‘Refund policy’ tab
    • Enter your refund policy in the text editor provided
    • Optionally, click the ‘Load Refund policy template’ button to use a pre-made guideline template and edit accordingly

Step 3: Save your changes

• After entering and customising your legal documents, click the ‘Save’ button located at the top right corner of the screen to save your policies
• A link to your saved legal pages will automatically be added to your footer and during the checkout process, to inform customers of your policies
