Setting up your shop’s legal pages is crucial for transparency and compliance.

This guide will help you create and manage your legal documents, such as Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.

Step 1: Access the Legal Pages section

• Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on “Settings”.
• Select the “Legal pages” tab from the options provided.

Step 2: Populate Legal Pages

• Terms & Conditions: This document outlines the rules and regulations for using your website.
  • Click on the “Terms & conditions” tab.
  • Enter your terms and conditions in the text editor provided. You can format the text using the toolbar options for bold, italics, lists, etc.
  • If you need a starting point, click the “Load Terms & conditions template” button to use a pre-made guideline template. Customise it to suit your needs.
• Privacy Policy
  • This document explains how you collect, use, and protect your customers’ personal information.
    • Click on the “Privacy policy” tab.
    • Enter your privacy policy in the text editor provided.
    • Optionally, click the “Load Privacy policy template” button to use a pre-made guideline template and customise it accordingly.
• Refund Policy
  • This document outlines the conditions under which customers can return products and receive refunds.
    • Click on the “Refund policy” tab.
    • Enter your refund policy in the text editor provided.

  Optionally, click the “Load Refund policy template” button to use a pre-made guideline template and customise it to fit your shop’s requirements

Step 3: Save your changes

• After entering and customising your legal documents, click the “Save” button located at the top right corner of the screen to save your policies.
• A link to your saved Terms & Conditions will also be added to your footer and during the checkout process, to inform customers of your policies.
